Publishing your Articles Online
There are a number of websites out there that provide free or inexpensive content to newsletter publishers, online magazines, news services and various other websites. Based on the business model of the article publisher, they may want to charge you a negligible fee for posting your article. Most of the sites I’ve seen do this for free. It is not uncommon for a well written article to be picked up, almost immediately, by dozens of authoritative websites. Be sure to post any articles or releases you’ve written to these services.
Caveat emptor! In sending your release out for publication, you lose all control over what and where it is actually printed. Your piece may be edited to bring down the length, and the editor may also change your document in order to interject their own personal opinion. Your article will be displayed alongside advertising for other businesses. This is a risk one takes with a press release, as well.
