CRM vs. Business Contact Management

Post image for CRM vs. Business Contact Management

CRM can be looked at as a glorified BCM (Business Contact Management) system. The base functionality and purpose of and and every CRM program is the ability to collect contact information, schedule appointments, create and assign tasks, etc. I’m not knocking full blown CRM systems. I must say, though, that small businesses, independent salespeople and the self employed may be better off with a simple, easy to use system.

This is the purpose of the Business Contact Manager for MS Access. Because its written in Access, the system is easy to add to and modify on your own. (Assuming you either know Access or are willing to hire someone to make the changes for you.)

The BCM allows you to track and manage contacts, sales, tasks, scheduling and more. Concise, easy to read reports make the system even better. You can take a look at the Business Contact Manager here: http://miketurco.com/business-contact-manager-10377
