Foreclosure Tracking System

The Foreclosure Tracking Database is a full featured database system for the complete tracking and management of foreclosure properties in California. Features include the downloading and import of online foreclosure information, recording and tracking lien information, management of documents, bankruptcy information and court dates, owner information, property valuation and more.

The Original System included use of Microsoft Outlook and MS Access for the purpose of tracking the dates and steps of the foreclosure process, as well as copying and pasting information from various online foreclosure database resources. The database had a “flat file” structure. There were no printed reports.

The New System connected directly to online databases to import and update information, and for the data sources that could not be directly imported, a link was provide to open the website so that the data could easily be copied and pasted into the database. Information regarding lein, bankruptcies, owner information, documents, previous MLS listings, etc. was added to the database in order to provide a foreclosure tracking and management system. The Foreclosure Tracking Database generates criteria based reports, such as Upcoming Sales Dates, Homes in foreclosure with more than a certain amount of equity, etc.
