Customer relationship management is critical to the foundation of every aspect of your business that has to do with people.When did you last speak with this person? What are the tasks that are to be performed in relationship to this contact? What is the status of RMA’S, purchase orders, etc?
Having the all the information you need every time you pickup the phone is more than just a strategic advantage: it’s common sense. Don’t think of Contact Management as a list of names and numbers. This is supposed to be the “Information Age”. When you’re talking to (for example) a customer on the phone, you need access to work orders, faxes, RMA’S, current and past orders, etc.
